Course Highlights
- This course offers students a unique opportunity to step into the shoes of an engineer. Through hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, students will learn the entire design process, from problem discovery to product testing, fostering their creativity and technical skills.
- First Steps in Industrial Design: Students will engage with advanced equipment such as 3D printing and laser cutting, mastering 3D modelling and CAD/CAM software. This immersive experience introduces them to the complete industrial design workflow, opening doors to a world of creativity.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Focusing on real-world issues, students will develop empathy as they seek solutions, cultivating a growth mindset through reflection. In group projects, they will learn to divide tasks effectively and collaborate, enhancing their communication and teamwork skills.
- Interdisciplinary Creativity: Engaging in interdisciplinary projects, students will break down the barriers between subjects like maths, science, engineering, and art. This freedom allows them to unleash their boundless creativity and appreciate the unique charm of innovative creation.
