The 2024 international A Level results from Cambridge and Pearson have been recently released, and WASHZ have continued its tradition of excellence, which has been established since the school’s founding.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

WASHZ remains steadfast in its dedication to the ethos of individualised education, which is integral to a holistic approach to education. The upper school provides an array of nearly 20\u00a0A Level courses spanning the Grade 11 and 12. This curriculum is designed to facilitate students with varying talents and interests in successfully applying to universities that align with their aspirations.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

In 2024, the pupils of WASHZ once again delivered moments of brilliance.\u00a0Nearly 50% of the candidates achieved the top grades of A\/A*, with K. Li securing three A* and one A; A. Li achieved two A* and one A.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/section>\n
<\/section>\n
At the same time, breakthrough achievements were made in individual subjects as well thanks to the ernest cooperation of all teachers and pupils.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

As an examination widely recognized around the globe, the A Level attracts over 800,000 candidates from across the world annually. In such a fiercely competitive environment,\u00a0WASHZ has still achieved results that possess international competitiveness.<\/p>\n

In additional to overall performance, several core subjects have also demonstrated impressive results. Notably,\u00a0subjects\u00a0such as Chemistry, Psychology and the EPQ are significantly ahead of the globe averages.<\/p>\n

The pursuit of academic excellence stands as an enduring objective for WASHZ.<\/p>\n

In the previous year, our pioneering group of pupils participated in the A Level examinations for the first time, securing a triumphant debut that has established a direction for our future learners to pursue and excel beyond. The accomplishments achieved this summer are a validation of the dedication and hard work of our entire faculty and student body throughout the year.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

According to statistics, independent schools\u00a0have been\u00a0pacesetters for A Level results in the UK, with the proportion of A\/A* exams close to 50% in 2024. WASHZ has achieved\u00a0nearly 50%\u00a0A\/A* exams for two consecutives years, which is not only\u00a0a reward for the efforts of all teachers and pupils but also proves that WASHZ has reached a first-class standard in education quality.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Ariel Li and Julia Zheng have been honoured with the “COBIS Student Achievement Award” for their exceptional accomplishment and contribution.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The “COBIS Student Achievement Awards” are presented by the Council of British International Schools to recognize students who have made outstanding achievements or contributions in a particular aspect of school life.<\/p>\n

The Council of British International Schools (COBIS) represents over 400 schools globally. With a presence in more than 80 countries, it ensures the quality of British education abroad. WASHZ is one of the 16\u00a0schools in\u00a0China to be a COBIS member and\u00a0has achieved the prestigious Patron’s Accreditation (only 2 schools in China have obtained it)<\/strong>, indicating a commitment to providing high-standard education across all levels.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n

We are absolutely delighted to announce truly excellent A Level results for our leaving students. These students have been outstanding at our school and they now round off their time in Wycombe Abbey with incredibly pleasing A Level results.
